April 18, 2025 was our first day in Daytona Beach, FL for Jeep Beach 2025. We were enjoying a leisure day and needed to pick up our Jeep Beach 5K and Fun Run Virtual Run Packets from the Running Element at One Daytona. While at One Daytona, we decided to have lunch at 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse at it’s Daytona Beach Location. We have eaten here multiple times since first trying it in December 2020.
About 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse
4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse is a Local Chain of Restaurants located across Northern and Central Florida. It began as a Cookout Fundraiser and has grown into a Award Winning Business, earning Honors and Recognition from Southern Living, Paula Deen Magazine, USA Today, and More.
Location and Atmosphere
The Restaurant is located near the Bass Pro Shop and The Daytona Hotel in the One Daytona Lifestyle and Entertainment Center. The Lifestyle and Entertainment Center provides nice sidewalks for walking, many options for shopping, as well as a Movie Theater. You can also park here and take the Pedestrian Bridge over to Daytona International Speedway. We do not recommend parking at One Daytona when attending an Event at the Race Track.
Featuring both an Indoor and Outdoor Seating Area, 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse is a modern style building with lots of windows and natural lighting. It offers an order counter, where you can see your meat and sides plated in front of you. To provide ample room for you to sample their delicious offerings, your meal will be served on a sturdy metal tray. The walls feature pictures from racing’s early days on the beaches of Daytona.
The Exterior Seating is on a Covered Patio Area with a Large Amount of Tables and Chairs. The Interior Seating Area is Spacious and spread across 2 rooms. It features a mixture of Tables and Chairs as well as Booths, which provides seating options for both large and small party sizes. We recommend calling them in advance, if you will be dining with a large party.

Menu Features at 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse in Daytona Beach
4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse Daytona Beach has a large menu. From Ribs, to Sandwiches, and Create your Own Platters, there are lots of delicious food here to enjoy. They also offer a Salad and Vegetarian Options. You can even choose to order Meats A La Carte which are great options for a Picnic or Large Gathering.
Meal Thoughts
We all choose to get the Cowboy Combo Platter. These Platters come with 3 Meats and 2 Sides.
Mama choose to get the Pulled Pork, Burnt Ends, and Pulled Chicken for her Meats. She said that she enjoyed the different options, and would definitely consider getting them again on a future visit. For her 2 Sides, Mama choose Texas Cornbread, and Mac and Cheese. She enjoyed them both, even though the Texas Cornbread did have pepper pieces in it.
Daddy choose to get the Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, and Texas Sausage for his Meats. He said that he enjoyed these 3 options and that he would definitely get them in the future. For his 2 Sides, Daddy also got the Texas Cornbread, and Mac and Cheese, which he also enjoyed.
I choose to get the Pulled Pork, Burnt Ends, and Texas Sausage as my Meats. I enjoyed all of these options and would definitely get them again, but after tasting Mama and Daddy’s Pulled Chicken that would also be a meat of consideration for me in the future. I choose Double French Fries for my 2 Sides. They were prepared fresh, and crunchy. I would definitely eat them again. Mama and Daddy also tried some of the French Fries, and agreed that they were very good.
Dessert Thoughts
4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse does offer several desserts, including Banana Pudding, Brownies, Bayou Bars, Coconut Bombs, and More. Mama and Daddy choose to try the Layered Cake of the Day. On the day of our visit, the Layered Cake was a Lemon Blueberry Pie Cake. Mama and Daddy both enjoyed the cake and said that it was moist as well as had a good flavor. I am not a huge lemon or blueberry fan, but I did try the cake. I actually like the cake, however, I did not personally care for the icing and cookie crumbs on the outside.
When we are not dining at 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse in Daytona Beach, FL, we will sometimes stop by One Daytona for a Sweet Treat at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. With a variety of options including Italian Ice, Soft Serve Ice Cream, and Jelati also known as Italian Ice and Soft Serve Ice Cream together, Jeremiah’s is a good alternative options if the desserts at 4 Rivers do not catch your attention. Final Thoughts on 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse in Daytona Beach, FL
We thoroughly enjoyed our Lunch at 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse Daytona Beach. It was a Great start to our Vacation. The Service was wonderful. The Food was hot, fresh and delicious. The Menu offers a large variety with options to choose from. The Staff is friendly, welcoming, and never made us feel rushed.
We arrived at 4 Rivers at 1:26 pm. We had ordered, ate and finished our meal by 2:26 pm. We enjoyed a slow leisure meal while chatting and spending time together with no rush.
It is also an added bonus to get to support a company that supports a cause that we believe in, Jeep Beach. That is why eating at a Jeep Beach Rated Restaurant is a 2 for 1 Bonus, Supporting Charity while eating Great Food. 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse was once again in 2025 a Jeep Beach Rated Restaurant, which is an honor given to Restaurants by Jeep Beach to acknowledge that this restaurant is where the locals eat. Most of these Restaurants also offer a Item on their Menu that gives a percentage back to the Jeep Beach Charities.
