We love Daytona Beach, and usually visit at least once a year. We had the pleasure of being in Daytona Beach, FL from April 17-28 to attend Jeep Beach 2025. Over the years and our visits, we have tried dessert from several restaurants in the area. But in 2024, we found our Favorite Dessert Spot in Daytona Beach, completely by accident. While attending an event at One Daytona, we decided to try this little spot there called Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, and we have never looked back. In fact, we enjoy their offerings so much that we made a stop here 4 times during our 2025 week in town.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice: History, Location, and Atmosphere
What began as a dream in 1988 became a reality in 1996 when the first Jeremiah’s Italian Ice location opened in Winter Park, FL. It has since grown into a Franchise with many locations throughout the Southeast and expanding into the Middle of the United States. The Daytona Beach location first opened on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, and has been delighting visitors ever since.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is located in the heart of the Shoppes at One Daytona, literally. When you turn off of International Speedway Boulevard onto Daytona Boulevard to enter One Daytona, this sweet spot is directly ahead of you in the middle of the road (Daytona Boulevard splits to go around this building and one more). The Lifestyle and Entertainment Center provides nice sidewalks for walking, many options for shopping, multiple delicious restaurants, as well as a Movie Theater. You can also park here and take the Pedestrian Bridge over to Daytona International Speedway. We do not recommend parking at One Daytona when attending an Event at the Race Track.
This Jeremiah’s Italian Ice Location offers visitors the opportunity to order at a walk-up window and enjoy a scrumptious treat at one of the tables in their outdoor seating area, or while exploring the complex. From their seating area, you can have a nice chat with Family and/or Friends, listen to some entertainment that maybe occurring in the Victory Circle area, or sit admiring the grandeur and beauty of Daytona International Speedway. If you happen to stop for a treat when a race is happening, you will even be able to hear the cars on the track. A Great View of one of Our Favorite Places, Daytona International Speedway, and Delicious Options is an Awesome Place to us.

Menu Features
Jeremiah’s offers Italian Ice, Soft Serve Ice Cream, and their signature, Jelati. They offer five cup sizes for you to choose from: Tadpole Mini, Small, Medium, Bullfrog, and Quart. You can also get the Italian Ice in a 1/2 Gallon. The Soft Serve Ice Cream is also available in a Cone: Small, Medium, or Waffle Cone. You can choose from approximately 23 flavors of Italian Ice and 3 Flavors of Soft Serve Ice Cream. They have been known to have a Sugar Free Flavor of Italian Ice.
Jelati is the Signature Treat at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. It is Soft Serve Ice Cream and Italian Ice layered together, how many layers you get will depend on the size you order. You can also choose to add Layer-Ins to your Jelati, such as Sprinkles, Cookie Butter Crumbles, or Hershey’s Mini Chocolate Chips. They also offer special limited time Jelati options that change out periodically.

Over the course of our 4 visits during the week, we tried a few different treats. All of which were Yummy.
April 18, 2024
This was our First Day in Daytona Beach and we decided to end it at our Favorite Dessert Spot. We all got Jelatis. I got a Small Orange Smash Italian Ice and Vanilla Ice Cream. Mama got a Small Strawberry Italian Ice and Vanilla Ice Cream. Daddy got a Bullfrog of the Limited Time Jelati that was available. It was called Rainbow Crunch, which featured Blue Razz, Sour Green Apple, Orange Smash and Cherry Italian Ice as well as Vanilla Soft Serve Ice Cream plus Freeze-Dried Skittles. We all loved our Jelatis and agreed we would definitely try them again. In fact, we did.
April 22, 2025
We were attending the Jeep Beach Island Time event at One Daytona. We arrived early to get our park, and had a late lunch. Afterwards, we strolled around enjoying the event. As we were preparing to leave, we decided that we wanted some dessert. So we headed to our spot. We loved the treats we had so much that we got them again. Only this time Mama and I both got Tadpole Minis instead of Smalls. Our Treats were just as good the second time as they were the first.
April 24, 2025
After attending the Jeep Beach Tiki Party hosted by the Shadebrigade at the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach, we headed to One Daytona to cap the night off with something sweet. We all decided to get Jelati again, but to mix it up. I got a Tadpole Mini of Vanilla Ice Cream and Sea Salted Caramel Italian Ice. Mama got a Tadpole Mini of Sour Green Apple Italian Ice and Vanilla Ice Cream. Daddy choose to get the same flavors as me, except in a Bullfrog size. We all like these flavors, and agreed we could definitely see our selves getting them again. Mama and Daddy even said that they might would try the Caramel Apple Jelati.
April 27, 2025
It was our last day in town, and we got up early to go see the Sunrise over the Ocean as well as the Jeep Beach Parade. The Tide had other plans for the Parade, but the Sunrise was AMAZING. Afterwards, we just relaxed enjoying the final day of our trip. We decided to end with a final stop at our Favorite Dessert Spot in Daytona Beach, FL. So we headed toward One Daytona and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice.
The Limited Time Jelati had changed that morning. Daddy had enjoyed the Rainbow Crunch so much that we were hoping this one would be good as well. We all wanted Jelati to end our Trip. I got a Tadpole Mini of Vanilla Ice Cream as well as both Orange Smash and Strawberry Italian Ice. Mama and Daddy both got the new Limited Time Jelati. Mama got a Tadpole Mini, while Daddy got a Bullfrog. It was called Hoppin’ Lemon Berry Flavorite, which featured Lemon Ice, Vanilla Soft Serve Ice Cream, and Strawberry Popping Pearls. They both LOVED it, and wished that it was a part of the regular menu, not just for a limited time. I loved my Jelati with two flavors, and thought that they mixed well together. It has now become my go-to order.
Final Thoughts
We thoroughly enjoyed our treats at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. It was a great start, middle, and end to our vacation. We had great weather during our trip, which made sitting outside and savoring our treats enjoyable. The Service was Wonderful. We loved the Variety that the Menu offered, even though we do wish that some of the Limited Time Jelati Combo Flavors were on the regular menu. This is our Go-To Sweet Spot in Daytona Beach and we will definitely be back.
If you would like to spend some time at One Daytona or are looking for a bite to eat near the Daytona International Speedway, we have ate at 4 Rivers BBQ Smokehouse, as well as Burger Ten and Chicken Too. We enjoyed our meals at both of these locations, which feature large menus as well as indoor and outdoor seating.
