🏰 If you are planning to attend Disney’s Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, these tips will help you make the most of your night. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event held on select nights in the Magic Kingdom, typically from August through October, and 2026 tickets are on sale now.
Tip 1
🎟️ While the Party does not officially start until 7:00 PM, Magic Kingdom Halloween Party Goers can enter the park as early as 4:00 PM with only their party ticket. If you wish to enter before 4:00 PM, a Day Ticket to the Magic Kingdom is required.
Tip 2
🗺️ Make sure to get a party map when you get your wristband. This is also the same time you get your complimentary trick-or-treat bag. The map contains information on party exclusive entertainment, trick-or-treat locations, character meet and greets, and more.
Tip 3
🚶♀️ Be sure to walk down Market Street at least once during the early hours of the party. This area typically closes very early during the party, and features special Halloween decorations. Sometimes there might even be a Disney Villain hanging around.

🤳 Rare Characters or those in Special Party Exclusive Outfits tend to have long waits. Plan your must see characters before you arrive at the party. Select Characters, such as Jack and Sally, will sometimes start meeting before the party begins at 7:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to meet them without using up valuable party time.

👻 If it is a party exclusive entertainment offering, make plans to check it out. If it is available during a regular day in the Magic Kingdom, save it for a non-party day in the park.

🛍️ Special Party Exclusive Merchandise and Popcorn Buckets can sell out quickly. It is not uncommon for them to sell out before the party officially begins at 7:00 PM. Party Exclusive Merchandise typically goes on sale around 4:00 PM, while Party Exclusive Popcorn Buckets typically goes on sale around 6:00 PM. If you want any of these items, make sure to arrive early to the party and get your shopping done as quickly as possible. You will not be able to purchase any party exclusive merchandise or popcorn buckets until after you have gotten your party wristband.

🍬 Everyone can trick-or-treat during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Some of the trick-or-treat lines even feature special character appearances, so keep your eyes open. There are multiple trick-or-treat lines throughout the park, and party goers can go through the lines as many times as they want after 7:00 PM. Check out your party map for the exact locations. Also, bring an extra bag or backpack. You do receive a complimentary trick-or-treat bag for attending the party. However, you can easily fill those up way before you get finished trick-or-treating for the night. Bringing an extra empty bag means you can easily carry all of the candy without having to buy another bag.

📸 Take as many pictures as possible. The Magic Kingdom really shines during the Fall Season with its amazing decorations. There are great picture backdrops everywhere. Lots of these iconic picture locations also feature a Disney Photopass Photographer. Be sure to ask them about getting some of the Party Exclusive Magicshots. 📋 You will not get everything done in one night and that is okay. It just means that you have a great reason to attend the party again next year. If there was something that you did not get done that you wish you had, make a list and keep it in your phone or suitcase so that you know what to prioritize on your next party visit.
