For Easter 2025, we knew that we would be in Daytona Beach, as it fell on the first weekend of Jeep Beach. Since there were no official Jeep Beach Activities that day, we decided that we would spend the day at Walt Disney World. We have been Blessed with the ability to have Walt Disney World Incredi-Passes, which are Annual Passes, so our tickets were already covered. All we had to do was make theme park reservations and show up. And, so we did. We made our plans and spent a Wonderful Easter Sunday 2025 at Walt Disney World.
Arriving at Walt Disney World on Easter Sunday
We left our Hotel in Daytona Beach at 6:31 am. We took I-4 straight to Walt Disney World, and got some beautiful views of the Easter Morning Sunrise. It was a wonderful reminder and representation of the meaning of the day: HE IS RISEN!

We crossed under the archway on World Drive at approximately 7:43 am. Our family wanted to spend Easter Sunday at the Magic Kingdom and the surrounding Resort Area. We arrived at the Magic Kingdom Parking Toll Booth at 7:48 am. With our Annual Passes, we get complimentary standard parking at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, so all we had to do was scan in. We parked in the Aladdin, Heroes section of the Magic Kingdom Parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) at 7:54 am.
Our Family then walked to the TTC, went through Security, and had loaded the General Joe Potter Ferryboat by 8:11 am. We were one of the first families on the boat, so we had to wait a few minutes while the crew loaded the boat. Then, we took the approximately 6 minute ride across the Seven Seas Lagoon, and were entering the Magic Kingdom Turnstiles at 8:31 am.

8:30 am to 9:30 am

The Garden in front of the Main Street Train Station at the Magic Kingdom was in full bloom and looked beautiful in the warm morning Sunlight. We choose to take a selfie with the Garden and Mickey Face since there was no PhotoPass Photographer at this location at that time. Our Family then made our way down Main Street, U.S.A., where we got a few pictures with Cinderella’s Castle taken by a Disney PhotoPass Photographer.

By then, it was 8:51 am, and we headed to the Main Street Bakery for a Mickey Cinnamon Roll and some Starbucks Coffee. Within 15 minutes of getting in line, we had ordered, and gotten our food. The Coffees and Mickey-Shaped Cinnamon Roll was delicious as always.

After eating our Breakfast, we got some Beautiful Pictures of Cinderella’s Castle and the gorgeous flowers in the Cinderella’s Castle Hub area.
9:30 am to 11:00 am

We then headed toward Liberty Square. One of our goals of the day was to meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. They were meeting in the Liberty Square Gazebo. We got in line on the side bridge, close to the Adventureland Archway at 9:32 am. The wait at this time was approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. We choose to wait in line even though the wait would be long, since this was a big priority for us. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny’s Companions were giving out autographed Happy Easter cards to the guests waiting in line for the Meet and Greet.

While waiting in line, we were able to watch a Cast Member make some awesome Bunny Art out of Masking Tape. As we made our way closer to the back of the Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square, we also saw Anastasia and Drizella, Cinderella’s Evil Step-Sisters, heading off to their meet and greet. At around 10:35 am, we could hear the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade as it made it’s way through Liberty Square. We could even catch a glimpse of some of the characters, like Panchito from The Three Caballeros.

At 10:43 am, the time had come for our visit with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. They were lovely. Their Outfits were awesome and they were so friendly.

11:00 am to 1:30 pm

Next, we headed to Frontierland. We got in line at 11:02 am for the next showing of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree. We got seats for the knee-slapping, toe-tapping jubilee that started at approximately 11:06 am. The Bears were chugging away on all cylinders, and put on a roaring good show as always.

We then headed back toward Liberty Square. Our Family had lunch reservations at The Diamond Horseshoe, and did not want to miss our check-in time. While waiting for our Lunch Reservations, we were able to watch the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade as it passed in front of the restaurant.
We then had a Fantastic Lunch at The Diamond Horseshoe. Our Server was Great, and the Food was Delicious. The Decor of this Restaurant is Wonderful. If you would like to learn more about our experience at this Amazing Restaurant, Check Out Our Full Review by Clicking Here.
1:30 pm to 3:15 pm

After Lunch, we headed back to Main Street, U.S.A. Another of our Priorities was seeing the Easter Pre-Parade Cavalcade. This was a New Experience for us and we wanted to make sure that we had a good spot. We stopped for a few minutes at the Main Street Confectionery to check out the Easter/Spring Treats.

Then, we found a bench to sit on in front of the Main Street Train Station at approximately 1:50 pm. We enjoyed sitting in this spot to wait for the parade. As it got closer to parade time, it started to get a little warm. To avoid getting to warm, we decided to move to a more shaded area in front of the Town Square Theater at approximately 2:50 pm.
The Easter Pre-Parade Cavalcade reached our spot at approximately 3:08 pm. We really enjoyed this Special Easter Exclusive Treat. We loved the fact that it featured the Hippos from Fantasia, that was a nice surprise. It also included Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny as well as more fun surprises. Plus, the Easter Parade Song was very catchy.
The Parade that followed the Cavalcade was the Festival of Fantasy Parade. We had seen this parade in the past, and have seen it since, so we choose not to watch the parade on Easter Sunday.
3:15 pm to 4:30 pm

Instead, we choose to catch a boat to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. We boarded our boat at approximately 3:25 pm, and 4 minutes later were walking from the Dock to the Lobby. We decided to visit the Grand Floridian on our Easter Sunday at Walt Disney World, because the last priority on our to-do list was to see the Resort’s 2025 Easter Egg Display.
The Walt Disney World Culinary Team does an AMAZING Job of hand crafting these Gorgeous Easter Eggs. Their 2025 designs did not disappoint. The Display featured Eggs themed after such Fan Favorites as 101 Dalmatians, Brother Bear, and Cinderella’s 70th Anniversary. This was our third year of seeing the Easter Eggs at the Grand Floridian. We love all of the Intricate Details and Beautiful Craftsmanship that goes into these stunning works of art.
The Easter Egg Display also included a Easter Cottage that offered Lovely Treats for sale. We did not get any this year. But in years past, we have enjoyed the Hot Cross Bun, Guava Cream Cheese Sweet Rolls, and Lemon Blueberry Whoopie Pie.
In years past, we have also had the opportunity of meeting some of the culinary team that create these masterpieces. However, none of the Team was out while we were there on April 20, 2025. Some of the Other Walt Disney World Resorts had 2025 Easter Egg Displays. However, we did not make it to those Resort’s this year.
While we were at the Grand Floridian, we got some refreshments from the Gift Shop. We then sat down in the Lobby to enjoy the Beautiful Scenery. During this time, we were surprised by the opportunity to hear one of the Resort’s very talented Piano Players entertaining Guests. They have been known to preform a variety of songs, including some Disney Classics.
Leaving Walt Disney World

Around 4:35 pm, we began our journey from the Grand Floridian back to our Jeep. We took the boat back to the Magic Kingdom and then the Ferryboat to the Transportation and Ticket Center. By approximately 5:45 pm, we had walked back to our Jeep, and were on the road back to Daytona Beach, FL. We arrived back at our Hotel at approximately 7:30 pm.
Final Thoughts

We spent a Wonderful Easter 2025 at Walt Disney World. We got all the things we wanted to get done accomplished, and made some Fabulous Memories. Our Family LOVED the Pre-Parade Cavalcade as well as seeing Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny. Plus, the Easter Eggs at the Grand Floridian are always Fantastic. We found that the crowds were large, but manageable, and that the heat was bearable.
A Hui Hou Aku! See You Again Soon!
