We were in Walt Disney World for Memorial Day Weekend 2025. On the road to Walt Disney World, we decided to look into seeing “Lilo & Stitch” Live Action. We found a showing for 8:30 am on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 in Dolby Cinema. We decided to purchase tickets since this fit in well with our plans to check out the EPCOT VIPassholder offerings as well as hop over to see Muppet-Vision 3D for a final time on Saturday, May 24, 2025. This was our first time seeing a movie at the Disney Springs Movie Theater, and we were excited to check out this New to Us Movie Theater as well as see a Movie that we had been patiently waiting for the release of for years.

About AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24

AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 opened as AMC Pleasure Island 10 on December 16, 1988. The name was changed to AMC Pleasure Island 24 on July 3, 1997. It began going by it’s current name, AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 in 2015. It had been completely refitted to include a Dine-In Section and Recliners by 2020, and has a capacity of 3,496.
Theaters
The AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 has many theaters, some of which offer Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D, or Laser Projection. Select Theaters, Showtimes, or Movies also offer Open Caption, Spanish Language Dubbed with No Subtitles, or English Spoken with Spanish Subtitles. Most Theaters have reserved seating, with select Theaters offering AMC Signature Recliners, or Heated AMC Signature Recliners. The Movie Theaters have seats that are accessible from three different levels, and seats are reserved when you purchase your tickets. When we went to purchase our tickets on Friday, May 23, 2025, there was very limited avaliability for any of the showtimes, except for the ones in the late afternoon and evening.
AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 also offers guests the option to have a Dine-In style experience including a Server during Select Movie Showtimes, and in Select Theaters. These Theaters provide guests with a Menu to order from, and have a separate entrance.

Arriving for an Early Movie
For our movie, we elected to see the 8:30 am showing on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Disney Springs does not open until 10:00 am, but they do make arrangements for guests attending an early movie at the theater. We knew that the buses would not be running this early, which left us with the options of Driving or using an Uber/Lyft. We choose to drive over from Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. When we arrived at 7:55 am, the parking garages were closed. We decided to go ahead and park in the surface parking lot behind Cirque du Soleil.
We walked up to the Security Guards to ask them how to get to the Movie Theater. They told us that the Orange Parking Garage opened for Guest Parking at 8:00 am, and that the Early Entry Disney Springs Security Check Point was located on the second floor of the parking garage. We could have drove over to the Orange Parking Garage, but we decided to just walk instead. When we reached the Security Check Point, there was an AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 Employee checking to make sure that only Guests with Valid Early Movie Tickets were entering Disney Springs. Afterwards, we went through Security, down the stairs, and walked to the AMC Disney Springs Entrance.
Our AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 Dolby Cinema Theater Experience

We walked the red carpet into the Theater. Upon entering, we were greeted by an Employee, who scanned our tickets and told us which theater to go to. Our Movie was presented in Theater One and was presented in Dolby Cinema. We choose not to do the Dine-In Delivery to Seat Theater Experience this time. After getting our Movie Treats, we headed into the theater. Theater Ine has a entrance hallway that has a wall lined with a large Video Screen. It makes the entrance walkway in the theater feel very immersive.

We had Reserved 3 end seats on Row D when we pre-purchased our “Lilo & Stitch” Live Action tickets. These seats were easily accessible from the first floor. AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 Dolby Cinema Theater One featured AMC Signature Recliners. This particular theater did not offer heated recliners. We found the Recliners to be very comfortable. Each Recliner had a Cup Holder, and 2 Arm Rests. No having to share arm rests with the person sitting beside you, who you may or may not know. There were controls for the recliners conveniently located in front of the cup holder. Each chair had there own controls. Even though we were only 4 rows from the bottom of the theater, we felt like we had great seats and a wonderful view.
Concessions and Food

AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 offers 2 Great Ways to experience some Tasty Treats. Movie Goers can choose to view a Movie in a Traditional Style Theater, like we did, or in a Dine-In Delivery to Seat Theater. Please Note that these Theaters have separate entrances into the AMC Theatres building.

Movie Goers can choose to Pre-Order Treats through the AMC App for Express Pick-Up or Order in the Theater at the Concessions Counter. You can also choose to try a less traditional movie treat such as Pizza, Mozzarella Sticks, Chicken Fingers, Sliders, Donut Holes and More. However, Treats are not the only thing that AMC Disney Springs has a Variety of. Looking for something to wet your whistle, Guests will find a Great Selection of Drinks in one of their multiple freestyle machines. They were also offering a cute AMC Theaters Popcorn Bucket Loungefly bag for purchase during our visit.

Dine-In Delivery to Seat Experience
Guests viewing Movies in a Dine-In Delivery to Seat Theater can enjoy some of the Chef’s Handcrafted Favorites while watching a Captivating Movie. Movie Goers with these Specific Tickets will enter the theater and order off of a menu at the Concessions Stand. There Menu features Appetizers, Entrees, and Desserts. The Appetizer Menu offers Guests such options as Loaded Bacon Tots/Fries, Ultimate Chicken Nachos, and the Big Bite Sampler. Chicken Quesadillas, a Chicken Cobb Salad, a Western BBQ Burger, an Avocado Chicken Grill Sandwich, and Plant-Based Options are just a portion of the Entrees available for you to choose from. Sweet Tooths will leave happy when such delicious desserts as a Warm Brownie Sundae, Chocolate Hazelnut Churros, and 5 Flavors of Double Decker Shakes are available.
Selecting and Ordering Our Movie Treats before “Lilo & Stitch” Live Action

We choose to see “Lilo & Stitch” Live Action in Dolby Cinema, which provided us with a Traditional Style Theater Experience. When we pre-purchased our movie tickets, we decided to not pre-order our treats, because we were not sure what we would feel like at that time. After entering the theater, we headed over to the Concessions Area. I was surprised by how large and well laid out this area was in comparison to other movie theaters that we have visited.
First we got in line and placed our order with the Cashier. We ordered 2 Large Fountain Drinks, and a Regular Popcorn. I was happy to see that AMC offers Starburts in the Concessions Area Candy Section, but decided against getting any. After Paying, the Lady gave us our cups as well as instructions for getting the popcorn. She told us that directly behind were we ordered was the popcorn. AMC Disney Springs already had prefilled containers of both Regular and Large Size Popcorn. We grabbed a Regular Bag of Popcorn. Daddy went to butter it, while Mama and I went to get drinks.
Movie Treats We Enjoyed
We were glad to see that they offer Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines. These give Guests a large Drink Selection to choose from. Daddy choose Sprite Zero for his drink. Mama and I choose to share a Sprite Zero. The Sprite Zero was well mixed, and had a good taste. Mama and Daddy said that the Popcorn was Fresh, and tasted Good. I thought about trying the Mozzarella Sticks, but decided against them. We had decided to have lunch at Rainforest Cafe Disney Springs Marketplace, and did not want to be too full to enjoy our meal at our favorite restaurant.

“Lilo & Stitch” Live Action
May Contain Spoilers

We LOVE Stitch. Our Family had been excitedly anticipating the release of “Lilo & Stitch” Live Action since we first heard about it a few years ago. Over the years, Our Family has seen many of Disney’s Live Action Remakes. We have enjoyed some (“Cinderella” and “Beauty and the Beast”) but also felt like most of the Animated Originals were better (“The Lion King”). However, We went into this movie with open minds, but also a little cautious.
We absolutely LOVED this Movie, and felt like it was Disney’s BEST Live Action Remake. I loved the fact that the Music from the Animated “Lilo & Stitch” were all used in the Live Action, including our favorite Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride (especially Mama’s). We were also glad that they kept the Wonderful Elvis Presley Music and Mentions in this Remake. Plus, We LOVE Elvis Stitch. We were glad that they did not change the looks or personalities of the Characters too much. Our Family has already made plans to purchase “Lilo & Stitch” Live Action when it comes available. We will definitely be watching this movie again.
We also were excited to find out that Disney had included so much of the Cast from the Animated Movie, such as Chris Sanders was the Voice of Stitch in both movies, Amy Hill played Tutu in the Live Action as well as voiced Mrs. Hasagawa in the Animated, Tia Carrere voiced Nani in the Animated Movie as well as played Mrs. Kekoa, the Social Worker, in the Live Action, and Jason Scott Lee voiced David in the Animated Movie as well as played the Lu’au Manager in the Live Action.
Final Thoughts
We Absolutely Enjoyed our Experience at AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24. The Movie was Fabulous. The Dolby Cinema Experience was Completely Captivating at AMC Dine-In-Disney Springs 24. The Treats were Fresh and Delicious. All of the Staff that we had dealings with were polite and helpful. The Theater and Lobby Areas were clean and well maintained. They offered some cool photo ops outside. The Location is great, conveniently positioned near parking, and within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants, as well as a large variety of shops. We will definitely see a Movie at the AMC Disney Springs again in the future, and may even try the Dine-In Experience. For Us seeing a Disney Movie while at Walt Disney World was an Extra Special Experience.

We would recommend this Movie Theater to any one who will be in the Walt Disney World area. This is a Wonderful Option if you are looking for something to do to beat the summer heat, or on a rainy day in Walt Disney World. Mama and I wore shorts since we would be walking around Disney Springs after the movie, and knew that it would be hot. We were actually cool in the movie theater. AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 does participate in the AMC Theatres Rewards Programs.
