Our 2025 Memorial Day Weekend was spent making many wonderful Memories at EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs. We added some treats and delights to our days with a few stops at the Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.
About Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is one of five Value Resorts in the Walt Disney World Resorts Collection. It is located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park Resort Area. This is the second of the 3 Disney’s All-Star Resorts. It opened on November 22, 1994. The Resort began a significant remodel in Late 2018. which lasted through most of 2019. The Resort features 2 Pools, a Food Court, an Arcade, and a Gift Shop. It is also within walking distance of Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. This Resort offers Guests Disney Bus Transportation to the 4 Theme Parks, 2 Water Parks, and Disney Springs. Guests can choose from 3 different room types: Standard, Preferred, and Family Suites. We stayed in a Standard Room in the Broadway Hotel Section.

A Guide to the Intermission Food Court
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort features a medley of Dining Options in the Intermission Food Court. The Intermission Food Court participates in the Disney Dining Plan, and the Disney Rapid Fill Refillable Mug Program, as of this writing. It is considered to be a Walt Disney World Quick Service Restaurant. Check Out the Intermission Food Court page on the Walt Disney World Website for up to date information on Menus, Hours, and Dining Plan Acceptance.
The Food Court is located in Melody Hall, and is open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Here Guests can find a Variety of Tasty Snacks, Delicious Meals, and Refreshing Drinks. Guests will also find Allergy-Friendly Options available upon request. You will find Three Order Stations in Disney’s All-Star Music’s Food Court, as well as One Dessert and Pastries Station. The Dessert and Pastries Station is also home to the Intermission Coffee Bar. The Food Court also features a Refrigerated Section that has a assortment of Chilled Drinks, in addition to Grab and Go Items. Menu Items, and Drinks are Subject to Change and Availability.
The Food Court is themed around Music like the rest of the resort. It highlights Mickey and his Pals Musical talents through some Unique, Exclusive Decor. It has a variety of seating options from Tables with Chairs to Booths, as well as Combo Table Seating Options. This Family-Friendly Food Court is bright and open, with plenty of things to look at. It can accommodate groups of many sizes.
Breakfast
The Food Court began serving Breakfast at the time of opening. The Breakfast Menu consisted of a Wide Variety of Options from Pancakes and Waffle Bounty Platters to Loaded Totcho Bowls and Vegetable Breakfast Quesadillas, along with many other items. We choose to have breakfast at the Intermission Food Court before heading home on May 26, 2025. Each of Us choose to get the Mickey-Shaped Waffles with Bacon and Sausage as well as a side of Potato Barrels, aka Tater Tots. We enjoyed our Breakfast here. The Food was Fresh and Warm. We liked both the Bacon and the Sausage. The Potato Barrels were fried crunchy, which we liked. And, you cannot go wrong with Mickey-Shaped Waffles, one of our favorite breakfast items on property. We personally feel like anything Mickey-Shaped Tastes Better.
Lunch and Dinner
The Food Court offered the same menu for both Lunch and Dinner. The Three Stations each took on different menu items during Lunch and Dinner. One Station offered Specialty Entrees, such as Citrus-Basil Salmon, Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry, as well as Sesame Chicken. Another Station offered Burgers, Chicken Strip, Chicken Adobo Nachos, as well as Fish and Chips among other things. The Final Station offered Pizza, Pasta, and Subs. We choose not to eat Lunch or Dinner at the Resort this trip, However, we were excited to see that they had Fish and Chips on the menu and did talk about trying them.
Dessert and Snacks
The Intermission Food Court had a Wonderful Selection of Dessert and Pastries for Guests to choose from. They offered an assortment of Shakes, and Sundaes. The Food Court also offers Soft-Serve Ice Cream (My Favorite) in Vanilla and Chocolate. They also had two cases, one with Sweet Treats, and one with Pastries. The Sweet Treats case featured Stitch Cupcakes, personal Cheesecakes, and Minnie Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough among other things. The Pastry Case features Croissants, Muffins, and More.
On May 24, 2025, we had a Wonderful Lunch at the Backlot Express Restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. When we returned to Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, we choose to pop into the Food Court for a Smackerel of Dessert. We tried the Mickey Brownie Sundae, Strawberry Cheesecake Sundae, and a cup of Vanilla Soft-Serve Ice Cream. The Ice Cream was Delicious. The Strawberry Sundae had a Good Flavor, and featured a cute Mickey Shaped Graham Cracker Cookie. We do wish that it had a little more Strawberries though. The Mickey Brownie Sundae was Good with a Large Amount of Ice Cream and a Warm Mickey Shaped Brownie. Are you sensing a pattern here?
Drinks
Guests dining at the Intermission Food Court have the option of choosing between Fountain Drinks, Bottled Drinks, and Refillable Mugs. All Drinks can be purchased at one of the Cash Registers or through Mobile Order on the My Disney Experience App. The Beverage Refrigerators offered approximately 11 Soft Drink options, plus Water, Milk, Juices, and Sports Drinks, along with other Bottled Drinks. The Beverage Station at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort’s Food Court featured approximately 11 Fountain Drink options in addition to Coffee, Tea, Hot Cocoa, and Water. You will receive your cups to use at the Beverage Station from the Cashier. Guests can also visit the Intermission Coffee Bar to get a Specialty Beverage, such as a Cappuccino, Caffè Latte, or a Strawberry, Coconut, and Passion Fruit Tea.
Warning: These Cups have a limited number of refills, and are made of Paper. The Cups can become flimsy when they are filled with Hot or Cold Liquid. We were happy to find that Bottles of Body Armour were available in the Refrigerators. Our Family choose to get Bottled Drinks with our Dessert one night, and Fountain Drinks with our Breakfast on our Check-Out Morning, as well as try the Zero Sugar Fruit Punch before heading over to the AMC Dine-In Disney Springs 24 to see the new “Lilo & Stitch” Live-Action Movie. We did not enjoy the fact that there is a limited number of Refills on Fountain Drink Cups, and were always worrying if we would run out of refills trying to top off our cups.
Complimentary Water
Guests can also find Complimentary Water and Ice at the Beverage Fill Stations. You can request a cup for Water from one of the Cashiers, or you can refill a Reusable Bottle. We Use and Recommend Water-to-Go Reusable Water Bottles. Our family has the 25oz./75cl. Large Water Purifier Bottles. They are made out of Sugarcane Bioplastic, and fairly lightweight. One Filter can replace up to 400 Single Use Plastic Bottles, while filtering out Bacteria, Parasites, and Viruses. Tip: Put some Ice along with the Water in your bottle and it will keep the Water Colder Longer, plus it gives you more to drink as it melts. These Filters also make WDW Water taste good, which sometimes without a Filter is not the case. Friendly Reminder: You H-2-Owe It to Yourself to Stay Hydrated.
Disney Rapid Fill Refillable Mug
Walt Disney World Resort Guests have the option of purchasing Disney Rapid Fill Refillable Mugs. These Mugs can be purchased in the Intermission Food Court, or may be included in the purchase of a Disney Dining Plan. Guests with these Mugs can enjoy refills of Fountain Drinks, Coffee, Tea, or Hot Cocoa for the entire length of their stay. Your Mug will need to be activated by a Cashier at the Time of Purchase. Afterwards, Guests are free to refill these mugs at any Walt Disney World Resort Self-Service Beverage Location.
Based upon our experience, if you will be getting drinks at the Resorts much during your trip, it is not hard to get your moneys worth out of the Mugs. These mugs are also sturdy, and feature a cool Walt Disney World Design. (Designs are Subject to Change without Notice.) They also make a great keepsake that you can take home and reuse. We have purchased the Rapid Fill Refillable Mugs in the Past and have always enjoyed them, as well as felt that we got our moneys worth. While we did not purchase mugs on this trip, we have decided that we will probably get them on future trips for the added convenience.
Final Thoughts
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. The Food Court offered us a Good Variety of Options to choose from. We savored the food that we ate from the Food Court, as well as found some Lunch and Dinner items that we would try on a future visit. The Intermission Food Court offerings would not deter us from staying at Disney’s All-Star Music in the future. All of the Staff that we interacted with at the Resort, including those in the Food Court area, were very pleasant and helpful.
We would definitely recommend Disney’s All-Star Music Resort to Guests considering a Stay here. If you are considering trying the Intermission Food Court, either as a Resort Guest or by visiting from another resort, we would definitely say give it a try. The Food Court has a lot to offer.
